Alert SA is an initiative of the South Australian Government. This technology has been designed to provide timely and relevant bushfire information to communities across the state. It provides information on incidents and warnings that are sourced directly from the South Australian CFS and the SA Metropolitan Fire Service.

The Red Cross works alongside communities as they strengthen their disaster resilience to reduce impacts on people’s wellbeing and relationships. They work alongside communities to develop a shared understanding of their strengths, risks and role before, during and after a disaster.

The South Australian CFS serves communities through dedicated volunteers delivering professional fire and rescue services to outer metropolitan, regional and rural SA. The CFS is an all-hazards agency responding to bushfire, building fire, road crash rescue and hazardous material spills.

The Disaster Legal Support Program is run through Community Justice SA. It supports South Australian individuals, small business and primary producers at all stages of the disaster management cycle. To help communities build resilience and prepare for disasters, they provide free community legal education and advice.

Disaster Relief Australia (DRA) provides disaster response to those affected by natural disasters, be they domestic or international. DRA aims to provide the greatest service and impact possible by joining skills and experiences of veterans, emergency responders, medical professionals, and technology solutions.

RSPCA South Australia is the state’s oldest and largest not-for-profit animal welfare charity. Working as animal protectors, carers and guardians they work non-stop to defend the dignity of animals, while fighting to prevent animal cruelty. Crucially, RSPCA SA is also the only charity empowered by State Parliament to prosecute animal cruelty and neglect.

The South Australian State Emergency Service (SASES) is a volunteer-based emergency assistance and rescue service. They provide and respond to thousands of emergency calls for assistance to the people of South Australia each year. The SASES assists South Australia Police (SAPOL) in land search operations and traffic management and CFS during major bushfires.

SA Health is committed to protecting and improving the health of all South Australians. They do this by providing leadership in health reform, public health services, health and medical research, policy development and planning. SA Health have an increased focus on well-being, illness prevention, early intervention and quality care.

South Australian Fire and Emergency Services Commission (SAFECOM) collaborates closely with the Chief Officers from the three South Australian fire and emergency service organisations. SAFECOM ensures that volunteers and employees across the fire and emergency services sector are provided with vital resources and support.

St John Ambulance SA is a self-funded charity that cares for the well-being of all South Australians. They achieve this through the provision of first aid at events, first aid training and products, youth development, and social inclusion programs.
